South Sydney Teams On Tuesday
By Steve Mavin for Bunnies TV.
The Rabbitohs horror injury toll added 3 more names to the list this week. Jacob Host (Abdominal strain), Silvia Havili (Hamstring Injury) and Dion Teaupa (Left Ac joint injury) are all out.
Cody Walker has been named to replace Dion. Pete Mamouzelos and Shaq Mitchell both get recalls.
Dean Hawkins has been named 18th man and will be on standby if Cody is not ready to return. Brock Gray and Leon Te Hau have also been added to the extended bench.
Rabbitohs Recap
All four Rabbitohs teams suffered defeats on Saturday. First grade were in the contest against the Sharks but never really played enough quality footy to win the match. This was despite the Sharks making 16 errors and missing 44 tackles, they were ripe for the picking. Sharks 20 – Rabbitohs 6.
In the curtain raiser our Jersey Flegg boys let in 10 tries but only scored 3 against a Sharks team that are 8th on the ladder. Sharks 58 – Rabbitohs 16.
NSW Cup started well and shot out to a 10 nil lead. However once the Jets fired up the engines there was no grounding them. Jets 38 – Rabbitohs 10.
The Bunnies Women let in 3 early tries before they got into the action down in Canberra. Mounties 24 – Rabbitohs 18.
