Redfern Report – Pre-Season Live

I arrived at Redfern Oval today just as the South Sydney Rabbitohs had completed their training session. I did manage to have a quick chat to team captain Cameron Murray before he went down the tunnel. We chatted about Cams Rugby League World Cup experience and I presented him with a couple of our new Bunnies TV stickers. I hope a few of the boys put them on their lockers.

I said a quick hello to coach Jason Demetriou and his coaches including the one and only Sam Burgess. I also managed to shoot a couple of short videos which we will release tomorrow, stay tuned.

In the stands I chatted to Tony and Brigitte from The Burrow and swapped a few stories with another Redfern regular Richard Nassif. We all made our way to the Park Cafe on Chalmers for coffee. While we sat, a steady stream of the Rabbitohs squad joined us to eat their lunch.

When the chance presented itself I said a quick hello to team physio Eddie Farah, Keaon Koloamatangi, Tallis Duncan and Shaq Mitchell but for the most part I left the boys in peace. My mate Rob Bush stopped by for a cuppa and a catch up too.

Todays Live Shows

We went live shortly after to successfully test our equipment. In this test broadcast we live chatted to Troy ‘Alby’ Stewart who ironically features in our ‘The Coach’ series. Unbelievably we were then joined by Bret Maling who also gets a mention in the series.
