Cam Murray is back at lock with Keaon Koloamatangi and Tallis Duncan named to start in the back row. Jacob Host returns on the bench. Tyrone Munro makes a welcome return on the extended bench.
On Monday the Rabbitohs announced the signing of Euan Aitken. The 27 year old back rower will wear the red and green until at least the end of the 2027 season.

Over the weekend we saw another clean sweep of losses for the club. The Storm were too good on Thursday night footy and all 3 pathways teams were also defeated.
Souths NRL side is 3rd last on the ladder. NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg are both 2nd last on the their respective tables. After a good start the Women’s team have slumped to 8th after 3 straight losses. A turnaround in 2025 can’t come soon enough.
Super Saturday
A rare Campbelltown triple header is scheduled for this Saturday 17th August. Jersey Flegg Cup v Wests Tigers kicks off the day at 3:30pm. NSW Cup v Magpies follows at 5:15pm then NRL v Wests Tigers 7:35pm. First grade will be live on Channel 9 as well as Foxtel.
Souths Women’s Premiership team take on the undefeated Wenty Magpies at midday on Saturday at Redfern Oval.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup teams will head down the M5 to play curtain raiser matches to the NRL fixture in round 24 matches at Campbelltown Sports Ground this Saturday, with the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership team returning home to Redfern Oval to take on Wentworthville in round seven on the same day.
The KOE NSW Cup match between the Rabbitohs and the Western Suburbs Magpies will kick off at 5:15pm with the Jersey Flegg Cup game between the Rabbitohs and the Wests Tigers playing beforehand at 3:30pm.
Earlier in the day the women’s team will play the Wentworthville Magpies at Redfern Oval at 12pm, with a curtain raiser under 12s girls exhibition match between the Redfern All Blacks and South Eastern Seagulls kicking off at 10:40am. Entry to Redfern Oval is free of charge with BBQ and canteen facilities available.
Come and support the current and future Rabbitohs women’s players this Saturday on home turf, before venturing to south-west Sydney to support the Rabbitohs three men’s senior teams!
