SG Ball Cup

New Rabbitohs SG Ball Cup coach Nathan Hogan has named a powerful lineup to take on the Dragons in round 1 this Saturday 12pm February 1st at Redfern Oval.

Halfback Matt Humphries comes into the starting side that hammered the Sea Eagles in Thursdays trial match. Humphries has spent this pre season training with the Bunnies top 30 squad. Five eight Taj Alvarez has been in unquestionably great form and leads a backline stacked with talent.

Kaea Mathews is a KIwi recruit to watch in 2025.

New recruits Johannes Logan and Kaea Mathews will start in the forwards. Mobile lock Harrsion Rooke is another player set to cause problems for St George.

Gun youngsters Lochlin Moses and Josh Ballard are also on the extended bench.

Harold Matthews Cup

The Rabbitohs have named their Harold Matthews Cup side to take on the Dragons 10:30am Saturday 1st February at Redfern Oval.

New coach Kel O’Brien was no doubt unhappy with his teams 2nd half performance against the Sea Eagles in Thursdays trial loss. An improved performance is undeniably essential for his team to start the season with the 2 points.

Elusive fullback Darcy Feltham is back for a 2nd year in this grade after a solid 2024 season. New recruit Jahzelle Lokeni is a dangerous ball runner at centre. Lock Keaon Anitelea-Tsioussis has been named captain.

Jacob Fong scores again.

Look out for number 15 Ziggy Lester off the bench.

Tarsha Gale Cup

New coach Brad Costello has named his Tarsha Gale Cup team to meet the Knights in the season opener 1pm Saturday 1st February at Cessnock.

In 2024, star number 7 Kiara McGregor made the jump from U17s Lisa Fiaola Cup up to the Rabbitohs Women’s team. Look for her to lead her team around the park with her skilful play and also use her excellent left foot kicking game.

The experienced Abbie Ritchie will play centre and local junior Hannah Kalland has been named in the 2nd row. Phoenix Williams is on the extended bench.

A lot of new faces in this squad with hopes high of an improved 2025 season. Good luck girls!

Lisa Fiaola Cup

A lot of new faces here too in the Rabbitohs Lisa Fiaola Cup team that will take on the Knights away in round 1. Kickoff is 11:30am on Saturday 1st February at Cessnock.

A clean sweep of new coach’s for our junior pathways teams consequently sees Vai Alaia take the reins in charge.

Lani Anderson is also back for another season on the wing. Let’s go Rabbitohs!
