The planned trial match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Townsville Blackhawks has been cancelled due to the flood emergency currently in north Queensland.

‘Money’ Matt Humphries is back for round 2.

Rabbitohs SG Ball Cup coach Nathan Hogan has named an unchanged lineup that defeated the Dragons 56-12 on Saturday at Redfern Oval. In round 2 they meet the Storm away 3pm Saturday 8th February at Seabrook Reserve in Broadmeadows, Victoria. In round 1 the Storm were defeated 20-12 by the Steelers.

Harold Matthews Cup

Dashing Darcy Feltham will wear the number 1 again.

Rabbitohs Harold Matthews Cup coach Kell O’Brien has also named an unchanged lineup after his boys defeated the Dragons 32-8 on Saturday at Redfern Oval. In round 2 they meet the Storm, also away 1:30pm Saturday 8th February at Seabrook Reserve in Broadmeadows, Victoria. In round 1 the Storm were defeated 42-6 by the Steelers. Bring on a 2-0 start to the season lads! 🔥

Tarsha Gale Cup

Rabbitohs Tarsha Gale Cup coach Brad Costello has changes his round 2 side that suffered defeat in the season opener to the Knights. Sienna Israel comes in at centre for April Chappell who drops back to the bench. Ella Grace Hamlin replaces Emily Butler in the 2nd row, she also switches to the bench. Niah-Telesia Tukino is the new face on the bench with Lulu Tupola dropping out of the 17. Rabbitohs v Dragons 12pm Saturday 8th February at Redfern Oval. In round 1 the Dragons lost 24-12 to the Steelers.

Jesslynn Mahanga will start at prop again on Saturday.

In round 2 Rabbitohs Lisa Fiaola Cup coach Vai Alaia has made changes to his team that was defeated by the Knights in round 1. Alaiela Dargin-Bell drops out with Larei Taulaga switching from the wing to take her centre spot. Billy Duggan gets a promotion to make her season debut on the wing. Miharna Ward replaces Alexus Gordon at five-eighth. Olivia Harrison replaces Victoria Loleni at prop, she drops back to the bench. Sarah Fakhr and Anna Taei are the new additions to the bench and will also make their season debuts. The Steelers were too good for the Dragons in round 1, winning 26-0. Rabbitohs v Dragons Saturday 8th February 10:30am at Redfern Oval.
