By Steve Mavin for Bunnies TV.

The Bunnies could do with a bit of magic at the moment. On Saturday night we’d definitely like to see them pull a Rabbit out of the hat!

Jack Wighton will play his 250th NRL game against the Cowboys.

More importantly for the last placed Rabbitohs, is for the team to improve and even better…win.

Jack Wighton 250th NRL Game

New recruit Jack Wighton will pull the boots on for his 250th appearance in the top grade against the Cowboys. Jack made his debut in 2012 against the Titans. There is no doubt that this season has not gone to plan for the former Raider. A win in a milestone match please boys, win it for Wighton!!

Jersey Flegg Cup

Our Jersey Flegg boys pulled off a dramatic win following the NSW Cup game on Saturday at Jubilee Stadium. Dane Towns swooped on an awkwardly bouncing bomb to give his team the lead late in the contest. The Dragons were awarded a penalty with seconds left on the clock and down 18-16 on the scoreboard.

Dane Towns swooped on a Brent Hawkins bomb.

St George halfback Ashton Ward attempted a penalty goal from almost 40 metres out. The ball had the distance but struck the upright and landed back in the field of play. Fortunately for Souths, the ball landed in the arms of prop Toby Sullivan and the game was over.

It’s the Jersey Flegg bye round in round 11 but the 5th placed Rabbitohs will play their round 5 match against the 12th placed Warriors that was washed out. The game is at Erskineville Oval 12pm Saturday 18th May.
