Souths Media Day 2023

Today was Souths media day 2023 and Bunnies TV were there to record as many interviews as possible in the time allowed.

The squad were out on the field from 9.30am. At the end of the session we made our way down to the fence to chat with the players and shoot some pictures and videos.

Around midday the players then made their way up into the grandstand all in a row so the media could chat to them.

The Interviews

We set up in front of the name card Cameron Murray. This meant that we were the first of the day to speak to our superstar captain.

Our superstar captain Cameron Murray was our first interview.

Next up we had a brief chat to Hame Sele who revealed exclusively to us that he hopes to be ready to return from his calf injury in round 1.

Hame could be back!

Our Shaq Chat

Our interview with Shaquai Mitchell deserves special mention. Shaq was nothing short of magnificent. He was honest and open, telling us about the changes he’s made and the struggles he’s faced and put behind him.

Our in depth chat with Shaq.

Dr Jimmy Lahood, our greatest supporter said “This is the best interview to date for Bunnies TV. The Shaq Mitchell story is one that all Rabbitohs can be proud of”.

A highlight of the day was our impromptu chat with four young blokes who were just sitting to the side minding their own business.

We wandered over to this group, away from the media scrum and had a brief chat to a group of players that are not household names…yet.

While speaking to my mate Mikey Siciliano tonight he said “I really enjoyed that ‘Fab 4’ interview. I like that Bunnies TV talk to the lesser known players rather than just concentrate on the club stars”.

The big 4.

We then caught up with Lachy Ilias, Davvy Moale and Keaon Koloamatangi before wrapping it up for the day.
