Rabbitohs Centre Captains Run Sights

On arrival at the Rabbitohs Centre this morning I went straight to the merchandise store to check on its progress.

I can report that the store will be open for business next week and it looks great. It’s a modern interactive experience that I know members and fans will love.

The cafe is still a few weeks away so until then it’s byo coffee.

Live & Free

I had our Canon Camcorder (with thanks to Georges Cameras) ready to roll just after 9.15am and went live and free on Bunnies TV.

Sutto signed autographs for fans today at the Rabbitohs Centre.

I shot and narrated the footage for just under 29 minutes. During that time I was able to focus on most of the team and coaches and it was obvious that they are a fit and happy group at the moment.

Live Stream 2

When that live stream ended I packed up from my position at the northern end of the ground and prepared for live stream number 2 with coach JD.

George & Rabs

While waiting for JD to arrive I said hello to George Piggins and his mates Norm Lipson and the Lahood brothers. I then met Tasmanian farmer Rabs Morgan-French and his family. The smile on Rabs face was from ear to ear and he later texted me to say “Today was amazing for us. We don’t get it very often so it means a lot. Sensational to see George and the club is just going so good!!”

Live & free this morning.

TKK

I then took a moment to chat to injured pathways star Terrell Kalo Kalo. ‘TKK’ told me that he fractured two bones in his lower leg and a rod has been inserted to repair the damage.

I went live a bit early for my chat with JD so to fill that few minutes I focused on club legend George Piggins and superstar Latrell Mitchell.

Trell Mit

‘Trell Mit’ was was the last Souths player on the field spending time with fans who had gathered to watch the session at the back of the Heffron Centre. Latrell even held a baby for a photo which I suspect will be a prized image for mum who took the shot.

JD Live

My interview with Jason Demetriou lasted just under 6 minutes and he was excellent as always. Thanks for your time coach!

JD today.

My morning concluded with a drone flight that took off outside the tennis centre next door to the Rabbitohs Centre. I flew up to 192m elevation and shot video and pictures before a low fly around the entire Heffron Centre.

Todays drone flight.
