Paul Sait Community Room Opening

The Paul Sait Community Room was officially opened at 12pm on Saturday 25th of March. The room is located at the Matraville Fields in the south west corner of Heffron Park, Maroubra.

This event was also the season opening of the Matraville Tigers club.

The day was a chance for Paul’s family to inspect and officially open the club room and also a chance to get in touch with the clubs rich history.

Federal MP Matt Thistlethwaite was the guest of honour along with The Juniors Chairman Keith McCraw.

Former Rabbitohs Rod Maybon, Graham Lyons, Craig Coleman and Scott Wilson attended the event as well.

An emotional Paul Jnr and Chris Sait unveiled the framed centre piece that features their dad, Souths great Paul Sait.

Paul Sait is South Sydney Rabbitohs first grade player number #549. He played 165 top grade games for the club between 1968-1979 scoring 28 tries.
