Captains Run – Indigenous Round

This morning Bunnies TV went live and free for the Indigenous Round Captains Run while the rain held off. We gave you an exclusive look at the South Sydney Rabbitohs players before they take on the Parramatta Eels on Friday night at Allianz Stadium.

I shot some bonus footage for members before we went live and this week I set up on the eastern side of the ground. I did this so viewers could see a different perspective of the team in action on the field.

Our camera position today at the Rabbitohs Centre.

A New Spot

This new position certainly worked out rather nicely because the majority of players all came across to that side of the field. The vision we captured was in my opinion some of the best we’ve seen so far at the Rabbitohs Centre.

Before the cameras rolled, Bunnies TV channel member Paul Delaney and wife Lynda came over to say hello.

Cameron On Camera

At one stage Cameron Murray spent a few minutes right in front of my camera position warming up the shoulders then sprinted off down the field.

JD Chat

After the training I filmed some more bonus footage for the members then interviewed Rabbitohs coach Jason Demetriou.

Our Jason Demetriou exclusive.

During our one on one chat we talked about the importance of indigenous round to the players and the community and coach JD gave us some important updates on injured stars Keaon Koloamatangi, Davvy Moale (4 weeks) and Siliva Havili (maybe 3 weeks).

Shaq Is Back

We also covered the fact that Shaq is back earlier than expected from injury and it will be good to see the big fella pulling the boots on tomorrow.

Charlies Balls

Meanwhile at my request, staff member Charlie McGowen posed for a few photos holding 3 red and green Steeden Indigenous designed footballs. Thanks again Charlie!

Drone Over Rabbit

Before I left I flew the drone over the Indigenous Rabbit that’s painted on the field and captured a few more photos and some aerial footage of the Heffron Centre.

Selected highlights from this morning.

On my way out I had a quick chat to Shaq and he showed me the blue boots that he had specially made for the game. I took a photo with him holding the boots and his little son. Mum got him to smile for the camera.

At What Cost starring Luke Carroll.

At What Cost

I also had a quick word with my celebrity mate Luke ‘Chicka’ Carroll. Chicka won’t be the MC for the Rabbitohs game on Friday because he is performing on the Belvoir St Theatre stage in ‘At What Cost’ until Sunday. You can buy tickets here.

Todays live stream.
