Captains Run – Brendan Brilliance
Bunnies TV went live and free this morning with guest host Brendan Tillitzki joining me on the microphone.
Brendans’ on camera debut was sensational, he’s a natural and filled in with distinction in the absence of Chaps and Browny.
Unfortunately a technical issue forced us to take down the live show but we were able to upload the replay version.
We began filming around 9.15am and were on the air for around 30 minutes. In that time Brendan spoke about a variety of Souths players with expert knowledge. A few times he revealed facts to our audience that I didn’t know. A try by Michael Chee Kam for the Wests Tigers against Souths is just one example.
Once ball work started I packed up our gear and began to prepare for the Jason Demetriou press conference. On the way to the new location I paused to shoot some bonus footage and chat to a few of the players.
Brendan had also moved down the the fence line and was filming Junior Tatola as he gave a shout out to Brendans’ daughter who is turning 3.
At the press conference our new Bunnies TV microphone cover made its debut alongside channels 10 and 7.
On to the footy tomorrow at Shark Park, let’s hope I get to see the team record their first round 1 win since 2020.
