Rabbitohs Extend Campbell ‘Stretch’ Graham

The South Sydney Rabbitohs announced the re-signing of Campbell Graham today for en extra 3 years.

This is fantastic news for the club that will see the man they call ‘Stretch’ remain at Souths until at least the end of the 2027 season.

Graham is an important member of the Rabbitohs backline and a fan favourite who is always generous with his time. He is among the best centres in the competition and has scored 14 tries in 15 appearances in 2023.

Stretch Is Spectacular

I am full of admiration for local junior Campbell, his rise through the ranks has been nothing short of spectacular. His rock solid defence is a feature of his game. There is no real weakness in his array of on field skills.

100 games as a young man with plenty more to come.

Off the field Campbell is a humble man. He has never once refused to have a chat with me or not allow me to take a picture or video. He is a champion on and off the field.

A South Sydney Man

Rabbitohs Head of Football, Mark Ellison, says extending Graham’s contract was a priority for the Club. “Campbell has proven himself to be one of the leading centres in the game,” Mr Ellison said.

“He has risen through the grades at South Sydney to play first grade at just 18 years of age, and since that day at the SCG he hasn’t looked back.

“Campbell has represented his Country and was unlucky not to represent his State this year, but we know he will get the opportunity to represent New South Wales in the years to come because of the quality of player and team mate that he is.

“He is a South Sydney man through-and-through and we want to achieve our Club’s goals with him and his family playing a key role in that success. We all love working with ‘Stretch’ and we look forward to continuing that work with him over the seasons to come.”

Core Group Locked In

Grahams’ extension means he’ll remain at the Bunnies and locks in a core group of players for Souths for the next four years that also include Latrell Mitchell (2027) and Jack Wighton (2027).

Origin stars Cam Murray, Damien Cook and Cody Walker are signed to the Rabbitohs through to the end of 2025.

This signing has really made my day. I couldn’t think of a player more worthy of long term retention than Campbell Graham.
